Position Summary

As part of the Enterprise Architecture Team, this role will be responsible for as-is and target architecture for strategic platforms. You will work closely with Solution and System Architects to build architectural roadmaps, strategies, patterns, standards, policies, and governance for key areas such as – AI, Cloud, APIs, Event-Driven and Security.

The role is responsible for long-term strategic roadmap, balancing business and technology perspectives, and setting the vision and framework for architecture styles, platforms, and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build architectural strategies and vision for products & platforms
• Build designs, standards and patterns that make use of AI to drive innovation and maturity with an emphasis on security and compliance
• Drive technology decisions across the organization and deliver industry-standard recommendations
• Drive Application and Technology to support business capabilities
• Drive Technology Architectures for – AI, Cloud, APIs & Event-Driven Architectures
• Perform architectural governance across applications, integration, cloud, data and AI domains
• Delivery of multi-year application and technology roadmaps
• Support key corporate initiatives to meet critical timelines related to architectural and product roadmaps
• Influence project portfolios towards implementation of the target state
• Act as an escalation point for architectural decisions and issues
• Collaborate to develop high-level solutions and functional architecture.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 15-18+ years of IT experience, with proven experience (7+ years) in enterprise architecture, with significant enterprise solution ownership.
• Good understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman)
• Deep hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Multi-cloud a plus.
• Deep experience with:
• Microservices and domain-driven design (DDD)
• API management and integration patterns
• Event-driven systems (Kafka/Messaging etc.)
• Containers/Kubernetes and CI/CD automation
• Data architecture fundamentals (RDBMS/NoSQL, caching, data pipelines)
• Experience with one or more AI technologies and architecture – GenAI, MCP, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Agentic AI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI and/or frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph etc.
• Strong understanding of NFRs: security, performance, scalability, resiliency, observability.
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, or cloud-native solutions).
• Experience with DevOps tooling, and automation frameworks.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, Azure/AWS/GCP Architect Certification) are a plus
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
