The Role: Building and Scaling Revenue
This role goes far beyond managing a sales pipeline.
The Sales Director will be responsible for owning the revenue strategy, scaling the sales organization, and driving sustainable business growth for Game Insider. You will work closely with founders and leadership to build systems, optimize conversion funnels, and expand market reach.
This is a strategic and execution-heavy role — ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, optimizing sales processes, and identifying new growth opportunities. You will lead the entire sales function while ensuring that the learner experience and company mission remain central to every conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Sales Strategy
- Own overall revenue targets and growth strategy for Game Insider programs.
- Design and implement scalable sales funnels across inbound and outbound channels.
- Build and optimize conversion systems across calls, WhatsApp, and digital touchpoints.
- Analyze sales performance data to continuously improve conversion rates and lead quality.
Team Leadership & Sales Operations
- Hire, train, and lead the Business Development and counselling team.
- Set targets, performance benchmarks, and incentive structures.
- Build strong sales playbooks, scripts, and processes to improve consistency.
- Monitor pipeline health, deal flow, and sales productivity.
Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify new revenue opportunities such as partnerships, institutional collaborations, and alternative acquisition channels.
- Work with marketing and product teams to improve lead generation and program positioning.
- Develop strategies to expand Game Insider’s presence across India and global gaming communities.
Customer Experience & Conversion
- Ensure discovery calls deliver genuine career guidance while driving conversions.
- Improve learner onboarding journeys and reduce friction in the decision process.
- Maintain high standards of communication, transparency, and trust with prospective learners.
What We’re Looking For
- 6–10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Revenue Leadership (EdTech experience strongly preferred).
- Proven experience in scaling sales teams and achieving aggressive revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of high-ticket program sales or consultative selling.
- Experience building sales systems, processes, and performance tracking frameworks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.
- Passion or strong interest in gaming, esports, or digital careers is a big plus.
