Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Direct Tax professional, located in Bengaluru. The responsibilities include overseeing tax planning and preparation, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws, managing tax assessments, and providing expert advice on tax efficiency strategies. The role also involves conducting in-depth research on tax matters, assisting in corporate tax filings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex tax issues.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Tax Law and Tax Planning
- Proficiency in Tax Preparation and compliance
- Understanding of Finance and related tax implications
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex tax regulations and laws
- Relevant experience in direct tax roles, with a focus on corporate clients, is preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant or equivalent are highly desirable
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using tax software and tools
