Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Direct Tax Advocate role based in Noida. The role involves assisting clients with direct tax matters, including tax planning, compliance, filing, and advisory services. Responsibilities include drafting and submitting tax documents, representing clients in various tax forums, keeping updated with changes in tax laws, and providing strategic advice to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions.
Qualifications
- Expertise in tax laws, regulations, and compliance, and a strong understanding of direct taxation principles
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal and tax-related documents
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting tax laws and assessing financial data
- Experience with representing clients in legal/tax forums and strong advocacy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions and documentation
- Knowledge of the latest updates in tax regulations and their practical applications
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Law or Accounting; membership with a recognized bar association or tax body is a plus
- Prior experience working in direct taxation or related fields is required
