We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our customer, troubleshooting, and resolving issues raised through the Service Desk.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as raised through the service desk, escalating as required if a resolution cannot be made in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in setting up and supporting workstations remotely, including Mac, Mobile and Windows PC.
  • Creating and managing Active Directory and Google accounts and permissions for employees.
  • Work collaboratively with other support teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Document and track all support incidents and resolutions using a ticketing system (Jira).
  • Managing and updating asset registers as required.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience (preferred) with:
  • Microsoft Technologies – Active Directory, Antivirus, O365 etc.
  • Remote Desktop Setup and Support for Mac and Windows PC
  • Mobile Support – Android and Apple
  • Network Support – DNS Administration, Troubleshooting, Printer etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Relevant industry certifications will be an added advantage.
