Direct Hire Recruiter (US Market)
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Work Schedule: U.S. Business Hours
Experience: 3+ years in U.S. recruitment with proven Direct Hire experience
The Role
We are looking for a Direct Hire Recruiter with expertise in U.S. Accounting & Finance recruitment. This role requires more than sourcing and submitting résumés. It demands in-depth candidate assessment, excellent communication, strong relationship management, and the ability to drive the hiring process through successful placement and joining.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle direct-hire recruitment process, from requirement intake and sourcing to screening, interviews, offer negotiation, and joining.
- Recruit Accounting & Finance professionals across areas such as General Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Audit, Financial Reporting, and Corporate Finance.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments to understand technical expertise, career motivations, compensation expectations, and suitability.
- Maintain proactive, transparent communication with candidates and clients throughout the hiring process.
- Manage interview feedback, candidate expectations, counteroffers, and offer negotiations to improve acceptance and joining rates.
- Build strong candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruitment records in the ATS.
Requirements
- 3+ years of U.S. recruitment experience, with hands-on Direct Hire / Permanent Placement expertise.
- Proven experience recruiting Accounting & Finance professionals for the U.S. market.
- Excellent English communication, candidate engagement, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Strong understanding of U.S. hiring practices, compensation expectations, and recruitment processes.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and applicant tracking systems.
- A high level of ownership, attention to detail, and a results-driven approach.
