Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Derivatives Trader located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The role involves managing, analyzing, and executing derivative trading activities across various financial instruments and markets. Responsibilities include monitoring market trends, developing trading strategies, managing risk, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of trades. The Derivatives Trader will also collaborate with other teams, maintain compliance with regulations, and prepare regular performance and market reports.
Qualifications
- Expertise in financial instruments, derivatives trading, and risk management strategies
- Strong analytical skills, quantitative modeling, and proficiency in using trading platforms
- Knowledge of market trends, global financial markets, and economic indicators
- Effective communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills under pressure
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus
- Proven experience in a trading role or a similar financial services position
