Role Description The Dining Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based at IIDL Suites in New Delhi. The role involves welcoming guests to the dining area, guiding them to their seats, and providing menus or information about available food and beverage options. The Dining Attendant is responsible for setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and ensuring that buffet or service stations are consistently stocked and neatly arranged. Daily tasks include coordinating with kitchen staff for timely service, responding to guest requests, and handling basic billing or order notation as required. The role also requires following health, safety, and hygiene standards, reporting any issues to supervisors, and supporting the overall guest experience during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality or food and beverage service, such as restaurant, café, or hotel dining operations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact courteously and clearly with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, follow hygiene protocols, and manage basic dining setup, serving, and clearing tasks.
- Basic numeracy and organizational skills for handling orders, simple billing, and coordination with the kitchen.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in hotel or suite-style properties is an advantage.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; hospitality-related training or certification is a plus.
