Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role and should be willing to relocate to any of the 4 current locations and new outlets as we expand. The Dimsum Chef will be responsible for preparing various dimsum dishes, ensuring authenticity in taste and presentation. Key daily tasks include misenplace planning, ingredient preparation, quality control, and ensuring food safety compliance. Collaboration with the kitchen team to innovate and create new offerings is also preferred.
The Dimsum Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of culinary excellence and delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications
Strong expertise
- in preparing and crafting authentic dimsum, including cheung fung, xiao longbao suimai, hargau, bao buns, and other varieties of dimsums
- Knowledge of Asian culinary techniques and experience in menu creation and recipe development
- Proficiency in kitchen organization, inventory management, and ingredient control
- Skilled in food safety, hygiene standards, and maintaining quality consistency
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with the kitchen and service teams
- Minimum of 2years' experience in a fast paced, volume based, professional kitchen, specializing in dimsum preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to various tasks
