Experience: 4 to 6 years
To ensure that you will-
- Develop and maintain digital manufacturing models for production and factory operations.
- Create and manage digital representations of product, process, and resource systems.
- Execute production planning activities including process definition, line lancing, and resource optimization.
- Analyze production processes to identify digitalization opportunities and drive process improvements.
- Develop and run manufacturing simulations using Tecnomatix / DELMIA tools.
- Perform virtual validation of assembly processes, ergonomics, and workstation design.
- Conduct what-if analysis, bottleneck identification, and performance optimization using simulation studies.
- Execute virtual commissioning (VIBN) and support digital validation of new production systems.
- Design and optimize factory layouts, production lines, and material flow concepts.
- Evaluate manufacturing setups using simulation and visualization tools to improve efficiency.
- Perform robot simulation, equipment planning, and kinematic validation.
- Integrate and manage data from PLM, ERP, MES, and automation systems for simulation use.
- Contribute to development and continuous improvement of digital twin solutions.
- Manage simulation data preparation, validation, and model accuracy.
- Generate insights, reports, and recommendations based on simulation outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, IT) on digital initiatives.
- Support and drive implementation of Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing initiatives.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement programs.
Your qualification/ minimum requirements -
- B.E in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline
- Hands-on experience in Digital Manufacturing / Production Planning / Simulation.
- Experience with Siemens Tecnomatix (Process Simulate, Plant Simulation).
- Experience with Dassault DELMIA / 3DEXPERIENCE / CATIA V5/V6.
- Knowledge of process planning, assembly planning, layout planning, material flow, and line balancing.
- Understanding of ergonomics and manufacturing process validation.
- Basic understanding of PLM, MES, ERP (SAP preferred).
- Knowledge of data integration concepts (APIs, ETL).
- Understanding of simulation techniques and digital twin fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Exposure to Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing initiatives.
- Knowledge of IoT-enabled manufacturing environments.
