Internship Overview
This internship is a 6-month, fully remote, unpaid, learning-focused role designed for final-year students or recent graduates interested in HR, business, education, psychology, or related fields. You will work on real projects that improve how SPSA Education supports students and tutors, strengthen internal processes, and build practical career guidance services. You will be supervised by our Co-Founder and Operations Lead, Co-Founder and Academic Lead, and Founder and Chairman, and will interact with tutors, staff, students, and parents.
Role Description
As an HR and Business Transformation Intern, you will focus on people, processes, career development, and business innovation. You will learn how SPSA Education works from student registration to classes, feedback, and follow-up, and you will map student and tutor journeys to identify areas where processes can be simplified or improved. You will design a Tutor Onboarding Pack that includes a welcome message and orientation outline, a checklist for new tutors, and a basic training plan for online tools and teaching methods. You will create simple training materials such as checklists, short guides, and templates, and you will support the delivery of training sessions for tutors.
You will develop student feedback forms to evaluate tutors and classes, and you will create tutor self-evaluation tools to track their own progress. You will draft a simple HR policy outline covering code of conduct, attendance and communication expectations, and basic expectations for students and parents. You will research different career paths relevant to students in your target markets, and you will design a career counselling framework that includes session structure, key questions to understand student interests, strengths, and goals, and possible career options and pathways. You will create a student career profile template to collect information about academic background, interests and strengths, preferred fields or industries, and career goals and timeline. You will run pilot career guidance sessions and collect feedback from participants.
You will analyse existing courses and services and compare them with market needs, and you will brainstorm new course or service ideas such as specialised workshops, exam preparation programmes, career counselling packages, and parent education sessions. For top ideas, you will create business model outlines covering value proposition, target students or parents, pricing approach, and delivery mode, and you will prepare a proposal document for the founders with your recommendations. You will also support content creation for Instagram, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp, and you will help design a simple lead journey such as social media to WhatsApp to webinar or demo to enrolment.
Qualifications and Skills
You should be a final-year student or recent graduate in HR, Business, Psychology, Education, or related fields. You should have strong written English, basic communication skills in local languages if applicable, and be comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and online collaboration tools. You should be self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently, eager to learn, and professional in communication with tutors, students, and parents. You should have an interest in people development, training, and career guidance, and be able to write clearly and structured and think in terms of processes and systems.
What You Will Gain
You will gain real-world experience working on a live education business project, with hands-on exposure to business processes, HR, training design, career counselling, and business modelling. You will receive structured learning with clear tasks, milestones, and expectations, regular feedback from our founder and operations lead, and the opportunity to present your work and build a professional portfolio. You will earn an Recommendation Letter and Internship Completion Certificate from SPSA Education.
