- ETL/ELT Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex Talend Jobs (Extract, Transform, Load) using Talend Open Studio.
- Data Integration: Connect to diverse data sources including relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle), flat files (CSV, XML, JSON), and cloud storage.
- Data Transformation: Utilize Talend components (tMap, tAggregateRow, tFilterRow, etc.) to map, transform, and cleanse data.
- Job Design Patterns: Build reusable and scalable Talend jobs to automate routine data processes.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize Talend jobs for better performance and efficiency in data handling.
- Error Handling: Implement robust logging, error handling, and alerting mechanisms in Talend jobs to ensure data integrity.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed ETL processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Talend Open Studio (TOS) for Data Integration.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures).
- Experience in Data Mapping and Data Modeling.
- Familiarity with Java (for creating custom routines within Talend).
- Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience in File handling (CSV, XML, JSON) and API integration.
