Senior Digital Strategist (Integrated Planning)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Digital Strategist who thrives at the intersection of brand storytelling and digital innovation. This is not a siloed role; you will be the "digital twin" to our Brand and Communication Strategy teams. Your mission is to ensure that every brand insight is translated into a digital experience and every digital touchpoint reinforces the core brand communication.
The "Integrated" Mandate: Cross-Team Collaboration
- Brand Synergy: Work hand-in-hand with the Brand Strategy team to ensure digital tactics align with long-term brand equity. You will take high-level brand archetypes and translate them into digital personas and user journeys.
- Communication Alignment: Partner with the Communication Strategy team to ensure "The Big Idea" works across the fragmenting digital landscape. You will advise on how a single brand message should pivot between a 6-second bumper ad, a LinkedIn thought-leadership piece, and an interactive AR experience.
- The Bridge: Act as the technical translator between the "Creative/Brand" world and the "Data/Performance" world, ensuring that creative brilliance is backed by platform-specific best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborative Strategic Planning
- Integrated Ecosystems: Design 360-degree digital ecosystems where the brand story flows seamlessly across social, search, web, and emerging platforms.
- Touchpoint Mapping: Identify "Moments of Truth" in the consumer journey where digital interventions can amplify the communication strategy’s impact.
- Joint Brainstorming: Lead "Digital-First" ideation sessions with creative and brand teams to push the boundaries of what is possible in pitches.
2. Pitch & Growth Leadership
- Strategic Pitching: Lead the digital narrative in high-stakes pitches, demonstrating how our integrated approach (Brand + Comm + Digital) provides a competitive advantage.
- Market Intelligence: Provide the Brand and Comm teams with real-time digital "signals" (search trends, social sentiment, viral triggers) to inform broader brand positioning.
3. Measurement & Insight
- Beyond the Click: Work with the Comm team to define metrics that matter—not just CTRs and Impressions, but Brand Lift, Sentiment Shift, and Share of Voice.
- Post-Campaign Analysis: Lead integrated "Wrap-up" reports that show how digital execution specifically contributed to the overarching brand goals.
Core Competencies & Requirements
- Education & Experience: 6–10 years in Digital Planning or Integrated Strategy within a top-tier agency environment.
- Hybrid Thinking: A deep understanding of brand-building fundamentals (positioning, tone of voice, USP) combined with technical digital expertise (SEO, Programmatic, Social Algorithms).
- Platform Expertise: Mastery of the full digital funnel—from top-of-funnel awareness (YouTube/Display) to bottom-of-funnel conversion (Performance/Lead Gen).
