Job Description:
As a Scrum Master/Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while fostering an agile and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams through the Scrum framework, managing project timelines, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Scrum Master Duties: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor team members on Scrum practices and Agile principles to ensure adherence and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and work to resolve conflicts within the team as a Scrum Master/ Project Manager.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Project Manager Duties: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans, as necessary.
- Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project participants.
- General Responsibilities: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Foster a positive team environment that promotes productivity, creativity, and high performance.
Collect and analyze project metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP/CSM, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Overall, all 10-14 years of work experience and 7-8 years proven experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle complex issues effectively.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project).
