Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Digital Sales Manager role based in Chennai. The Digital Sales Manager will lead and grow digital sales initiatives, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closure. Responsibilities include building and managing a portfolio of client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic sales plans aligned with revenue targets. The role involves collaborating with marketing and digital media teams to design and position solutions, preparing sales presentations, and ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of pipeline activities. The Digital Sales Manager will also mentor and guide sales team members, maintain strong client relationships, monitor market trends, and continuously optimize sales approaches to drive sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Sales and Sales Management, with experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a digital or media-focused environment.
- Strong Account Management capabilities, including client relationship building, retention, and upselling/cross-selling.
- Knowledge of Digital Media, including digital platforms, advertising formats, and performance metrics.
- Hands-on experience with Digital Marketing concepts, campaigns, and tools to support and align sales efforts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to refine strategies and drive decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience leading or coordinating sales teams, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and adaptability to evolving client and market needs.
