Digital Product Manager

About XYXX
XYXX is one of India's fastest-growing men's comfort-wear brands. Our website and app are central to how customers discover and buy from us — whether they arrive through a paid ad, an organic search, or an AI assistant. We're looking for someone to own that entire experience layer.
The Role
This is a three-part role. You'll set product direction and work with developers to ship features. You'll run the day-to-day Shopify merchandising — keeping the storefront sharp, current, and commercially optimised. And you'll own our organic discoverability across both traditional search and the AI-powered surfaces that are increasingly how customers find brands like ours.
The right person sees these as one connected system, not three separate jobs.
What You'll Do
Product
Own the digital product roadmap for the website and app.
Write clear, developer-ready feature specs with defined acceptance criteria and edge cases.
Work through sprint cycles with developers from brief to QA sign-off.
Measure feature performance and bring recommendations, not just reports.
Shopify Merchandising
Own the Search & Discovery functionality across platforms — synonyms, product boosting, pinned results, and search configuration.
Manage promotional banners, PLP & PDP optimization, filter taxonomy, and collection configurations without raising developer tickets.
Audit the storefront regularly and fix issues before customers encounter them.
Ensure every new product launch is set up correctly — tags, metadata, filters — before going live.
SEO & AEO
Own on-page and technical SEO across collection and product pages.
Govern URL architecture — canonical tags, redirect management, and filter parameter handling — so the storefront is clean for both users and crawlers.
Build a content and structured data strategy that helps XYXX show up on AI search surfaces like Google SGE, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.
Track organic performance weekly and turn insights into action.
Work with the marketing team to align paid and organic keyword strategies.
What You Bring
Solid Shopify knowledge — collections, metafields, Search & Discovery, and how it all interacts with SEO.
Hands-on SEO experience on an e-commerce site — keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical hygiene, and ranking tracking.
A working understanding of structured data and how AI search engines discover and surface content.
The ability to write product requirements that developers can act on without follow-up questions.
Comfort with analytics — GA4, Google Search Console, and Shopify Analytics.
Self-direction. A lot of this role is operational. You don't need to be chased.
Good to have:
Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools.
Familiarity with paid campaigns and how UTM and deep-link URLs interact with SEO.
Basic ability to inspect a page in browser DevTools — enough to verify something is working without raising a ticket.
P&L awareness and comfort tying product and SEO decisions to revenue outcomes.
Who You Are
You move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You notice problems on the storefront before customers do. You understand that a URL structure decision and a content decision are both SEO decisions. You care about shipping things correctly, not just shipping things.
