Role Description The Digital Onboarding Executive will manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition onto Kappal’s digital logistics platform. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves guiding customers through account setup, platform demonstrations, documentation requirements, and initial shipment workflows. The role includes coordinating with internal teams such as sales, operations, and technology to resolve onboarding issues, align expectations, and configure solutions based on client needs. The Digital Onboarding Executive will regularly communicate with customers via calls, emails, and virtual meetings, provide training on system features, and capture feedback to improve the onboarding experience. The position also involves maintaining accurate onboarding records, monitoring customer activation milestones, and contributing to process improvements and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer onboarding, client success, account coordination, or a similar customer-facing role, preferably in logistics, shipping, SaaS, or related technology-driven industries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain digital platforms and processes clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including handling multiple onboarding projects, tracking milestones, and meeting deadlines.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including CRM or onboarding software, spreadsheets, and online meeting tools; ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail in documentation, data entry, and process compliance.
- Collaborative approach, able to work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, technology) while maintaining a strong customer focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in logistics, supply chain, or digital platforms, with a continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and interact professionally with clients from varied backgrounds and geographies.
