The Role
Montro is at the stage where the right marketing hire changes everything.
We have a clear positioning, a compelling story, and a market with genuine urgency — the EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2 are creating compliance pressure across European enterprise right now and no European-native platform owns the AI governance space we are building into. What we need is someone who can take that story and build the digital presence, audience, and pipeline that turns it into commercial momentum.
This is a hands-on role. You will own Montro's social media channels, run paid social and search campaigns, and bring solid all-round digital marketing instincts to everything from email to SEO to content distribution. You will work directly with the founders and have real ownership over how Montro shows up digitally.
What You Will Do
Social media — your core focus
- Own and grow Montro's LinkedIn presence — the primary channel for reaching CISOs, IT Directors, and DPOs in European mid-market organisations
- Build and execute an organic content calendar across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram — thought leadership posts, regulatory updates, product news, and founder content
- Write and produce social content independently — you do not wait for a brief, you spot the angle and produce it
- Grow follower count, engagement, and inbound enquiries through consistent, high-quality organic activity
- Monitor conversations around AI governance, EU AI Act, DORA, and shadow IT — and put Montro into those conversations
Paid social and search
- Plan, build, and manage LinkedIn Ads campaigns targeting IT and security decision-makers in the UK and Ireland
- Run Google Search Ads capturing intent-driven traffic around AI governance, SaaS management, and EU compliance keywords
- Own campaign budgets, targeting, copy, and creative — from setup through to optimisation
- Report on paid performance clearly: CPL, pipeline contribution, ROAS — and make data-driven decisions from it
Broader digital marketing
- Support SEO strategy — keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content briefs that serve both search and thought leadership goals
- Manage email marketing to the Montro prospect and subscriber list — nurture sequences, event invitations, and product announcements
- Maintain and optimise the Montro website for conversion — landing pages, CTAs, and the self-assessment tool flow
- Track and report on digital performance across all channels — traffic, leads, conversions — and translate the data into clear recommendations
What We Are Looking For
Essential:
- 3–5 years of digital marketing experience with a clear specialism in social media — organic and paid
- Proven track record managing LinkedIn organic and LinkedIn Ads for a B2B audience
- Hands-on experience running Google Search Ads — campaign setup, keyword strategy, bid management, and optimisation
- Strong copywriter — you can write a LinkedIn post that stops a scroll and a search ad that earns a click
- Data-driven mindset — comfortable in analytics tools, able to read performance and act on it
- Self-starter who works well without a large team around them
Nice to have:
- Experience marketing a B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or compliance product
- Familiarity with the EU regulatory landscape — AI Act, DORA, NIS2, GDPR — or appetite to get up to speed fast
- Experience with marketing automation or CRM platforms — HubSpot or similar
- Basic design skills — able to produce simple social assets without waiting for a designer
