About the Role
We are looking for a versatile and results-driven Webmaster & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Mumbai. In this dual-function role, you will own the technical health and user experience of our web presence while simultaneously driving measurable growth through data-led digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is hands-on, commercially astute, and has actively upskilled within the past twelve months to stay ahead of the fast-changing digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities

- Ability to rewrite copy that reflects your current service offering, target client, and positioning
- Basic web design/development skills (WordPress, Webflow, or whatever your site is built on)
- Understanding of B2B service businesses — they need to translate what Indevia does into what clients gain
For generating revenue from traffic:
- SEO knowledge — so the right small business owners find you organically
- Conversion rate optimization (CRO) — turning visitors into leads via clear calls to action, contact forms, lead magnets (e.g. a free bookkeeping checklist)
- Basic analytics — Google Analytics, Search Console, so they can tell you what's working
- Email capture and nurture — small business owners rarely buy immediately; building a list matters
- Manage, maintain, and continuously optimise the company website (WordPress / custom CMS) for performance, security, and uptime.
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits — Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawlability, and indexation — and implement remediation plans.
- Oversee domain, hosting, SSL certificates, DNS configuration, and third-party integrations (CRM, analytics, payment gateways).
- Implement and test responsive design updates, landing pages, and microsites in collaboration with designers and developers.
- Monitor website analytics (GA4 / Search Console) and translate data into actionable optimisation recommendations.
- Enforce web security best practices including vulnerability patching, backup protocols, and GDPR/PDPB compliance.
Digital Marketing & Growth
- Plan and execute multi-channel digital campaigns across SEO, SEM (Google Ads), Meta Ads, LinkedIn, and email marketing.
- Develop and maintain an editorial/content calendar aligned with business objectives and the Indian festive/seasonal marketing cycle.
- Manage social media accounts — organic and paid — with a focus on engagement, follower growth, and lead generation.
- Build, segment, and automate email marketing workflows using tools such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Zoho Campaigns.
- Track, analyse, and report on KPIs (CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, organic traffic, conversion rate) on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities in the Mumbai and pan-India markets.
- Collaborate with content writers, graphic designers, and product teams to produce compelling digital assets.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s 2019;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience in a combined webmaster/digital marketing role or separate roles covering both disciplines.
- Demonstrable portfolio of campaigns and web projects with measurable outcomes.
Technical Skills
- Website platforms: WordPress (theme/plugin management, Elementor/Divi), and familiarity with at least one headless or custom-stack setup.
- Front-end basics: HTML5, CSS3, and enough JavaScript to implement tracking scripts, fix layout issues, and liaise effectively with developers.
- Analytics & Tag Management: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager.
- Paid Media: Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max), Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- SEO Tools: Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or equivalent.
- Email platforms: Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zoho, or Klaviyo.
- Design collaboration: Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud for light asset editing and briefing.
Preferred — Recent Skill Upgrades (Last 12 Months)
We strongly value candidates who have proactively invested in professional development. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate at least one of the following recent certifications or skills acquired in the last twelve months:
- Google Analytics 4 Certification (post-GA4 migration — 2024/25 version).
- AI-assisted content and campaign management — e.g., using ChatGPT, Gemini, or Jasper for copy generation and optimisation.
- Prompt engineering fundamentals applied to marketing automation or content workflows.
- Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate or Meta Certified Media Buying Professional (2024/25 badge).
- HubSpot Content Marketing, Email Marketing, or Inbound Certification (current, not expired).
- Google Ads Certification — Search, Performance Max, or Demand Gen (renewed 2024/25).
- Core Web Vitals / Page Experience optimisation training aligned with 2024 Google updates.
- Short course or certification in marketing analytics, data storytelling, or GA4 Advanced Analysis.

Soft Skills & Attributes
- Strong analytical mindset — comfortable working with data and presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; working proficiency in Hindi is an advantage.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to brief and coordinate cross-functional teams (design, sales, product).
- Genuine curiosity about digital trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
