Our client is looking for a Finance Manager / Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial planning, performance analysis, and profitability improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for driving insights, managing forecasts, and supporting leadership with data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance and identify key drivers behind variances compared to prior periods and forecasts
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability, with a strong focus on cost and expense management
- Conduct detailed expense analysis to uncover trends and highlight areas for cost optimization
- Support leadership in identifying and implementing cost-control initiatives, including quantifying their financial impact
- Collaborate with senior finance leaders (CFO and Market CFO) to develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts
- Ensure forecasts and profit plans reflect current trends, business initiatives, and operational changes
- Work closely with functional departments to align financial plans with operational strategies
- Contribute to long-range planning (LRP) and annual business planning cycles
- Participate in cross-functional committees and provide financial insights to support business decisions
- Lead and support the development, training, and performance management of finance team members
- Serve as a subject matter expert in financial analytics tools and methodologies
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to improve operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lead and guide team members effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial certifications
- Previous leadership or managerial experience
