Digital Marketing Head (specialising in SEO primarily)
📍 Location: Gurgaon, Sector 49
🗓 Working Days: 5.5 Days a Week
🏠 Saturdays: Half-day (Work From Home)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - (position summary)
This leadership role will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Digital Marketing (led by SEO) and Content Business, including SEO, Social Media, Paid Ads, Website Development, and Content Marketing services, with a strong focus on revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
In addition, this role will own lead generation for Justwords through SEO, Content Marketing, and Performance Marketing Campaigns, ensuring a predictable and scalable inbound pipeline.
The role requires :
· Deep technical knowledge and experience of SEO and AI SEO, followed by understanding of other digital marketing domains like Social Media, Website Development, PPC and Content marketing.
· Driving a large team for providing Digital Marketing Services - (especially SEO and content) to our clients
· Revenue growth and margin improvement for Justwords
· High-impact client delivery and retention
· AI-led operational efficiency and automation
· Consistent lead generation for business growth
This is a strategic leadership role combining business ownership, growth marketing, and operational excellence.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Growth & P&L Ownership
· Own and drive overall revenue, margin, and growth for Digital Marketing & Content services
· Identify and scale new revenue opportunities across SEO, SMM, Paid Ads, Content & Web
· Work closely with Sales/BD to:
o Improve conversion rates
o Strengthen proposal quality
o Increase average deal size and retention
2. Lead Generation (Organic & Paid) for Justwords
Own and drive lead generation for Justwords through:
o Organic SEO (website traffic, keyword ranking, inbound leads)
o Content marketing (blogs, case studies, thought leadership)
o Paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn)
· Optimize:
o Landing pages
o Conversion funnels
o Lead quality
· Work with BD team to ensure:
o Lead qualification
o Faster conversion cycles
3. AI-Led Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization
· Lead implementation of AI tools, automation workflows, and AI agents across delivery
· Drive 30–50% productivity improvement and cost efficiency
· Automate:
o SEO workflows (GEO, AEO, AIO frameworks)
o Content production pipelines
o Reporting dashboards
· Reduce manual dependency and improve turnaround time
4. Delivery Excellence & Client Impact
· Ensure high-quality delivery across all services
· Drive client KPIs and business outcomes, not just outputs
· Monitor:
o SEO performance (traffic, rankings)
o Paid campaign ROI
o Content effectiveness
· Strengthen:
o Client retention
o Upsell & cross-sell opportunities
5. Process, Systems & Performance Management
· Build and enforce standardized SOPs across all services
· Ensure full utilization of tools like Asana, CRM, analytics dashboards
· Create real-time dashboards for:
o Revenue
o Margins
o Utilization
o Lead generation performance
6. Strategic Leadership & Innovation
· Drive innovation in:
o AI-driven SEO & content
o Performance marketing
o Conversion optimization
· Introduce scalable frameworks for:
o GEO / AEO / AIO
o Growth experimentation
7. Team Leadership & Capability Building
· Build and lead a high-performance cross-functional team
· Upskill team on:
o Digital trends
o AI tools
o Strategic execution
· Drive a culture of:
o Ownership
o Accountability
o Continuous improvement
KEY SUCCESS METRICS
· Revenue growth (monthly / annual)
· Gross margin improvement
· Leads generated (organic + paid)
· Client retention & NPS
· Productivity improvement (via AI)
· Delivery turnaround time
· Team utilization % of associates etc.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
Graduation with preferably a degree in Marketing, with a passion for AI.
Experience: Minimum 10+ Years in Digital Marketing Industry as a digital marketing lead or expert in marketing agencies where you have handled teams and clients.
Additional: Knowledge of AI and working with Asana or any other project management tool
