Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing Manager with a strong blend of Content Strategy, Copywriting, and Social Media Management. The ideal candidate will take ownership of end-to-end digital content and social media execution, ensuring consistent brand communication, engagement growth, and performance-driven marketing outcomes.
This role demands both strategic planning and hands-on execution, including content ideation, SEO writing, cross-platform distribution, community engagement, analytics reporting, and basic design support.
Key Responsibilities
1) Digital Strategy & Content Planning
- Develop and manage a weekly/monthly content calendar aligned with marketing goals.
- Conduct research on:
- industry trends
- competitor content
- customer pain points
- content opportunities
- Plan and execute content themes and campaigns across platforms.
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form formats (social posts, carousels, reels scripts, threads).
2) Content Writing & Copywriting
- Create high-quality, engaging content including:
- Blogs & articles
- Website content and landing page content
- Case studies, whitepapers, and guides
- Email newsletter copy
- Social captions, campaign content, video scripts
- Ensure content is aligned with brand tone, storytelling, and business objective.
- Develop persuasive copy for engagement and conversions.
3) Social Media Management
- Manage and grow social platforms such as:
- LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, Quora, Reddit
- Schedule posts and ensure consistent publishing.
- Monitor social trends and new platform features.
- Use platform best practices and algorithm understanding to improve organic reach.
4) Community Engagement & Brand Building
- Actively engage with audiences by responding to:
- comments
- DMs
- mentions
- Build and nurture communities via:
- Quora answers
- Reddit discussions
- LinkedIn groups engagement
- Maintain strong brand reputation and voice online.
5) SEO, Optimization & Distribution
- Perform keyword research and write SEO-optimized content.
- Optimize content with:
- meta titles
- meta descriptions
- headings and keyword placement
- internal linking and readability
- Work with SEO/video/design teams (as needed) to improve reach and engagement.
6) Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report key metrics like:
- engagement & reach
- follower growth
- clicks/CTR
- conversions/leads
- content performance
- Use tools such as:
- Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Twitter Analytics
- Improve strategy based on insights and performance data.
7) Basic Creative/Design Support
- Create basic creatives using:
- Canva / Adobe Express / Figma
- Design simple:
- social creatives
- banners
- infographics
- carousel layouts
- Support short video formats (reels/shorts) with scripts/content coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Communications / Journalism / related field
- 2–5 years of experience in:
- digital marketing
- content strategy
- copywriting
- social media management
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of:
- social media algorithms
- engagement strategies
- SEO best practices
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work independently.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with tools like:
- SEMrush / Ahrefs / Google Keyword Planner
- Scheduling tools:
- Hootsuite / Buffer / Later
- Basic video editing knowledge (bonus):
- CapCut / InShot / Premiere Rush
- Experience in B2B / IT / Technology / service industry marketing
