Company Description
BigHammer.ai is an AI-native autonomous data engineering platform founded in February 2026, headquartered in Austin, TX. We are building the future of data engineering — deploying AI agents that build, govern, migrate, and optimize enterprise data platforms autonomously. Our founder brings 20+ years of enterprise data experience from leadership roles at Dun & Bradstreet and Aon, and we are backed by a clear mission: end data engineering chaos for good.
We are a fast-moving, early-stage startup where every hire has outsized impact. This is not a corporate marketing role — it is a hands-on, build-from-scratch opportunity to define how an emerging AI company shows up in the market.
Role Description
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will own and execute BigHammer's entire digital presence and demand generation engine. You will be the single-threaded owner of our brand across all digital channels — responsible for building awareness among data engineering leaders, generating qualified pipeline, and establishing BigHammer as a thought leader in AI-powered data engineering.
This role requires someone who is equal parts creative strategist and hands-on executor. You will manage campaigns end-to-end, from ideation through analytics. You will work directly with the CEO to translate founder-led thought leadership into scalable marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Marketing
• Own and manage BigHammer's presence across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels
• Develop and execute a weekly content calendar aligned with GTM campaigns, product launches, and industry events
• Write, edit, and publish social posts, blog articles, case study summaries, and thought leadership content in the founder's voice
• Build and engage a community of data engineers, CDOs, CTOs, and data platform leaders
• Track trending topics in AI, data engineering, and cloud migration; create timely, relevant content
• Manage social scheduling, analytics, and optimization through Metricool
Campaign Management & Demand Generation
• Design, launch, and manage multi-channel outbound and inbound campaigns targeting enterprise data leaders
Build and optimize email sequences across Tantra, EndyInbox, and Instantly for cold outreach, nurture, and re-engagement
• Manage the full CRM lifecycle in Go High Level (GHL), including lead capture, pipeline management, tagging, and reporting
• Set up and manage messaging campaigns (SMS, WhatsApp, voice) via Twilio integrations in GHL
• Plan and execute webinars using WebinarGeek — from registration pages to follow-up sequences
• Coordinate paid media campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) when budget is allocated
Marketing Automation & Technology
• Build and maintain marketing automation workflows using N8N (on AWS), Make.com, and Claude AI
• Automate lead scoring, follow-up triggers, content distribution, and reporting pipelines
• Manage DNS, domain configuration, and email deliverability across Namecheap and Cloudflare
• Ensure security best practices using Bitwarden for credential management and Cloudflare for web security
• Collaborate using Google Workspace for documents and workflow, and Microsoft Office 365 for internal communications
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
• Define and track KPIs: MQLs, SQLs, pipeline generated, CAC, engagement rates, follower growth, email deliverability
• Produce weekly and monthly marketing performance reports for the CEO
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, ad copy, landing pages, and campaign sequences
• Continuously optimize campaigns based on data — not assumptions
Brand & Thought Leadership
• Maintain brand consistency across all channels, ensuring alignment with BigHammer's voice: bold, practitioner-led, and outcome-driven
• Support the CEO's LinkedIn thought leadership program — drafting, scheduling, and amplifying founder content
• Manage relationships with design contractors, freelance writers, and agencies as needed
• Stay current on competitor marketing activity and industry positioning trends
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology company
• Proven track record managing multi-channel campaigns end-to-end (email, social, paid, webinar, content)
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (N8N, Make.com, Zapier, or equivalent)
• Strong CRM management skills — GHL preferred; HubSpot or Salesforce experience translates well
• Demonstrated ability to write compelling B2B content: social posts, email copy, blog articles, and ad copy
• Experience managing social media for a technology brand across LinkedIn, X, and at least one additional platform
• Proficiency with email deliverability best practices (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm-up, domain rotation)
• Strong analytical mindset — comfortable building dashboards, interpreting data, and making optimization decisions
• Excellent project management skills — ability to manage 5+ concurrent campaigns without dropping balls
• Self-starter mentality — comfortable operating with minimal oversight in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience marketing to data engineers, CDOs, CTOs, or technical enterprise buyers
• Familiarity with the data engineering ecosystem (Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Spark, etc.)
• Experience with AI-powered content creation tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for marketing workflows
• Previous startup experience (Series A or earlier) where you built marketing from scratch
• Understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for enterprise sales
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for landing page and email template customization
• Video content creation or editing skills for social media and webinar repurposing
What Success Looks Like

• Audit all existing channels, content, and campaigns; deliver a gap analysis and 90-day plan
• Achieve full proficiency across the marketing tech stack (GHL, N8N, Make.com, Metricool, email tools)
• Publish a consistent content calendar across LinkedIn, X, and at least one additional channel
First 90 Days
• Launch at least 3 multi-channel campaigns generating measurable pipeline

• Full marketing automation engine running: content → distribution → lead capture → nurture → handoff to sales
