The Role
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Client Manager who combines strategic marketing expertise with hands-on execution capability. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for North American clients, owning the relationship from strategy to results. This is not a “just manage the account” role—you’ll be expected to get into the platforms,
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Communication
• Lead weekly and monthly performance review calls with North American clients, presenting data-backed insights, recommendations, and strategic next steps
• Serve as the single point of accountability for client satisfaction, retention, and growth • Translate complex campaign data into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with business owners and marketing directors
• Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client goals and market trends
Strategy & Hands-On Execution
• Develop and oversee multi-channel digital marketing strategies across Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax, YouTube), Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Local Services Ads (LSA) • Build, optimize, and troubleshoot PPC campaigns directly in Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, and Meta Business Suite when needed
• Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, ad copy testing, bid strategy optimization, and conversion tracking setup
• Manage SEO initiatives including keyword ranking analysis, content strategy, technical audits and local SEO for multi-location businesses and Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, Quality Score) and take corrective action in real-time
Team Leadership & Quality Control
• Guide and mentor a small team of digital marketing specialists, assigning tasks, reviewing output, and ensuring quality standards
• Establish and enforce SOPs for campaign setup, QC checklists, reporting, and client communication
• Conduct regular campaign audits to catch budget mismanagement, targeting errors, and missed optimization opportunities before they impact performance
• Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning, resource allocation, and new business pitches
Requirements
Must-Have
• 4–7+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience with a strong focus on PPC (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and performance marketing
• Proven track record managing campaigns targeting North American markets (US/Canada) with an understanding of regional nuances, seasonality, and consumer behavior
• Proficiency in Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, CallRail or equivalent call tracking, and reporting dashboards
• Experience managing client relationships and leading performance review meetings with confidence and clarity
• Strong analytical skills—comfortable interpreting data, spotting trends, and making budget decisions quickly
• Ability to both lead a team and independently execute campaign work when the situation demands it
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)—this is a client-facing role with US-based stakeholders
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with Local Services Ads (LSA), or franchise/multi-location marketing • Working knowledge of SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and content marketing strategy
• Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, LassoCRM) and marketing automation (Zapier) • Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications
• Exposure to AI-powered marketing tools and a genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping digital advertising
