We're looking for a highly motivated Digital Marketing Intern who is passionate about SEO, AI-powered search, content marketing, and digital growth. This internship is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of digital marketing while working on a global SaaS product.
What You'll Do
- Assist in implementing technical SEO recommendations to improve website performance.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Support on-page and off-page SEO initiatives.
- Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building strategies.
- Research Google algorithm updates and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Optimize content for traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI search platforms).
- Create SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and website content.
- Assist in content marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and organic traffic.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Perform website audits and identify SEO issues.
- Collaborate with the content, design, and development teams on marketing initiatives.
- Research new digital marketing trends, AI tools, and growth opportunities.
- Support social media marketing, email marketing, and campaign execution when required.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals.
- Knowledge of technical SEO concepts such as crawling, indexing, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
- Understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and link-building strategies.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Basic knowledge of Google ranking algorithms and search engine best practices.
- Interest in AI-powered search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
- Good content writing and copywriting skills.
- Ability to conduct online research and competitor analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of Canva, Figma, or video editing tools is a plus.
- Exposure to social media marketing, Google Ads, or Meta Ads is an advantage.
