Digital Brand Manager – Online Business

About the Role
We are IIMBx - the digital learning initiative of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), established in 2014 to provide accessible, high-quality management education. We are rapidly growing & expanding our online business, and we are looking for a Digital Brand Manager to lead brand-building efforts across digital and new-age marketing channels. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who blends sharp brand thinking with digital fluency, and who can shape how our brand shows up across every consumer touchpoint online.
You will own the digital brand narrative, drive integrated campaigns, and work closely with cross-functional teams across performance marketing, content, product, and design to deliver business outcomes while strengthening brand equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the digital brand strategy for the online business, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity across all channels.
- Plan and execute integrated brand campaigns across digital platforms - social, video, influencer, content, OTT, programmatic, and emerging channels.
- Have the ability to manage multiple programs running at the same time, with a strong data driven and project management approach
- Partner with performance marketing teams/agencies to balance brand-building with demand generation, ensuring campaigns drive both equity and measurable business impact.
- Lead content and creative development with internal teams and external agencies, from briefing to execution to post-campaign analysis.
- Track brand health metrics, consumer sentiment, and campaign performance, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Stay ahead of trends in new-age marketing - creator economy, community-led growth, AI-driven personalization, short-form video, and more, and bring relevant experiments to the table.
- Manage agency partners, budgets, and timelines with rigor and ownership.
- Collaborate with production, category, product and business teams to align brand initiatives with growth priorities.
What We Are Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in digital and brand marketing, preferably with exposure to consumer internet, edtech, D2C, or category-leading consumer brands.
- Prior experience as a Digital Brand Manager, Brand Manager, or in a closely aligned role with hands-on ownership of brand campaigns.
- Strong grasp of branding fundamentals - positioning, identity, narrative, and consumer insight, combined with fluency in new-age and digital marketing levers.
- Demonstrated ability to run campaigns end-to-end: brief, execute, measure, and iterate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to craft compelling narratives and present confidently to senior stakeholders.
- MBA from a Tier 1/2 institute strongly preferred. Undergraduate degree from a reputed institution.
- Hands-on operator who thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments and is comfortable balancing strategy with execution.
