Role Description The Dietitian role at The Good Food Way is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Dietitian will assess clients’ nutritional needs, review health histories, and develop personalized meal and nutrition plans aligned with their health goals and lifestyle. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing one-on-one nutritional counseling, tracking client progress, and adjusting recommendations based on outcomes and feedback. The Dietitian will collaborate closely with chefs and the operations team to ensure meals meet dietary requirements, are accurately calorie-counted, and follow medical nutrition therapy guidelines where applicable. The role also involves educating clients on sustainable eating habits, supporting weight management programs, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to nutrition-related content and initiatives within the company.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Dietetics and Nutrition for assessing dietary needs and creating balanced meal plans.
- Candidates should possess skills in Nutritional Counseling for guiding clients, providing education, and supporting behavior change.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Medical Nutrition Therapy for managing nutrition in the context of specific health conditions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Weight Management for designing and monitoring programs focused on healthy weight loss or maintenance.
- Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field, with appropriate registration or licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.
- Ability to interpret medical and laboratory data, document care accurately, and use digital tools or EMR systems for client tracking.
- Excellent communication skills, a client-centered approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with culinary and operations teams.
- Experience in clinical, community, or wellness nutrition settings; familiarity with meal-planning for diverse dietary patterns (e.g., diabetic-friendly, heart-healthy, high-protein) is an advantage.
