Role Description
We are seeking a Die Designer for a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. The successful candidate will design, develop, and test dies used in manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance requirements. Responsibilities include creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials, optimizing designs for efficient production, and liaising with engineering and production teams to ensure successful implementation and performance. The Die Designer will also evaluate and improve existing designs to align with the company's goals of sustainability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Technical proficiency in CAD software, 2D and 3D modeling, and tool design processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for developing effective and efficient die designs
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, die materials, and industry standards
- Experience in design optimization for production scalability and sustainability
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Relevant experience in die design for automotive, construction, or similar sectors is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with sustainable materials and energy-efficient design concepts is a plus
