Role Description
This is a full-time in store role for a Diamond Jewellery Salesperson located in the Greater Kolkata Area. We are looking for a head salesman for our new store in Saltlake, Kolkata. The role will involve work starting in July 2026, on site at our store. Responsibilities include engaging with clients in retail and pop-up settings, understanding their needs, providing expert advice on jewelry selections, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Additional duties involve staying updated on trends in luxury and lab-grown jewelry and assisting with product customization and care guidelines for customers.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Diamonds , diamond jewellery retail and diamond dealing.
- Ability to converse with clients fluently in Hindi since most existing clients belong to the upper segment Marwari community.
- Ability to close and convert clients over phone call .
- Ability to be the store manager and look after the entire store's retail setup.
- Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills to enhance client experience.
- Experience with Polishing and handling fine jewelry is an advantage
- Ability to provide product Training and expert advice to clients
- Attention to detail with strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in luxury retail sales or a related field is preferred
- Passion for sustainability and appreciation for high-quality craftsmanship is a plus
