About the Company
Ykrita Life Sciences is an innovative healthcare start-up developing a breakthrough liver regenerative support system. Our technology, designed with usability and mechanical similarities to a hemodialysis machine, aims to treat patients suffering from Acute Liver Failure (ALF) and Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure (ACLF). We are currently in the pilot phase of clinical trials and are committed to transforming the landscape of critical liver care through cutting-edge medical innovation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Dialysis Technician to support our ongoing clinical pilot studies. This role is critical to the successful deployment and operation of our device in clinical settings.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site device management, ensuring seamless execution of clinical protocols, and contributing to continuous product improvement through hands-on feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the liver support system during pilot studies.
- Act as the primary on-site technician for device setup, operation, and troubleshooting
- Ensure proper installation, calibration, monitoring, and maintenance of equipment
- Travel to multiple clinical sites as required for study execution
- Work closely with clinical teams, investigators, and internal R&D teams
- Adhere to study protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support extended and flexible working hours based on clinical and patient needs
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma in Dialysis Technology (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a hospital setting (post-diploma)
- Strong expertise in operating a variety of dialysis machines
- Ability to independently manage medical devices in clinical environments
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to different work locations
- Flexibility to work beyond standard working hours when required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to clinical trials or clinical investigations involving medical devices
- Familiarity with usability testing of medical devices
- Prior experience working in research-driven or startup healthcare environments (a plus)
