Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Diagnostics role based in Patna. The role involves performing routine and specialized diagnostic tests in accordance with established laboratory protocols and quality standards. The individual will be expected to handle sample collection, processing, and documentation, ensuring accurate data entry and timely reporting. Daily responsibilities include operating and maintaining diagnostic equipment, monitoring quality control parameters, and adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. Collaboration with clinicians, phlebotomists, and logistics teams to support patient-centric services and continuous improvement in laboratory processes is also an important part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic procedures, laboratory techniques, and quality control practices.
- Ability to operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in sample handling, data entry, and report generation.
- Understanding of infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance in a clinical laboratory.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with medical, logistics, and support staff.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Relevant diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a diagnostic laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred.
