Airfreight Pilot

DHL Global Forwarding - Airfreight Pilot Job Description: As an Airfreight Pilot, you will be responsible for operating DHL cargo aircraft on domestic and international routes. This will involve taking complete responsibility for the flight from pre-flight planning through to landing and post-flight activities. You will work closely with DHL's operations teams to ensure that cargo is delivered in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: - Performing pre-flight planning and calculations - Conducting aircraft walkaround inspections - Operating the aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and DHL Standard Operating Procedures - Providing in-flight communication with DHL's operations teams - Ensuring the safety and security of the aircraft, cargo and crew at all times - Maintaining accurate flight logs and other required documentation - Adhering to DHL's safety, compliance and performance standards Requirements: - ATPL or Commercial Pilot License with appropriate ratings - Significant experience as a Captain or First Officer on large commercial or cargo aircraft - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards - Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
