Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a DGPS Survey Vendor - Freelancer based in Vishakhapatnam. As a DGPS Survey Vendor, you will conduct precise Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) surveys, collect and analyze spatial data, and ensure data accuracy and quality. The role involves generating survey reports, troubleshooting technical issues, and liaising with teams to deliver accurate outputs. Adherence to safety regulations and efficient field data handling is integral to the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in DGPS operations, GPS survey methodologies, and using surveying equipment.
- Skilled in data collection, spatial data analysis, and mapping techniques.
- Familiarity with software tools for data processing and geospatial analysis.
- Detailed understanding of terrain mapping, remote sensing, and geospatial principles.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities related to DGPS equipment.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety protocols for fieldwork.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and clients.
- A degree or certification in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in UAV operations and aerial surveying is a significant advantage.
