Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Deputy General Manager - Purchase (Hospital). The DGM - Purchase will oversee purchasing processes, manage procurement activities, and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of supplies and services. The role involves analyzing supplier performance, negotiating contracts, building strong vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The role also requires working closely with internal stakeholders to optimize inventory and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and handling Purchase Orders
- Strong expertise in Purchasing and understanding end-to-end procurement frameworks
- Excellent Analytical Skills for evaluating suppliers, optimizing costs, and managing inventory
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with a results-oriented approach
- Proven experience in supply chain or procurement-related roles in healthcare or hospital environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations is an advantage
