Qualification : B. Tech /M. Tech

Job Location : Bangalore (ITPL Whitefield Rd, Mahadevapura Post)
Job Purpose
Ø We are seeking a senior leader to build and scale our IOT / OT / Embedded Systems capability as a strategic pillar of our Digital & AI business. This role will own OT ecosystem partnerships, lead IOT hardware and embedded R&D, and establish a strong internal team for industrial and municipal digital solutions. The position will also drive IOT integration into existing standard products to create smart, connected offerings and strengthen market differentiation.
Job Responsibility
1. OT Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
· Lead strategic partnerships with OT / industrial automation vendors including PLC, SCADA, RTU, gateway, instrumentation, and communication technology providers.
· Define partner evaluation criteria, technical/commercial qualification framework, and governance model (quality, SLA, support, roadmap alignment, cost competitiveness).
· Drive interoperability strategy across industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT and other field/plant communication standards).
· Build a scalable partner ecosystem to support deployments across industrial plants and municipal water distribution networks.
2. IOT Hardware & Embedded R&D Leadership
· Define and execute the roadmap for IoT edge devices, embedded controllers, sensor interface units, gateways, and remote monitoring hardware platforms.
· Lead embedded system architecture decisions on hardware, firmware, connectivity, reliability, cybersecurity, and remote manageability.
· Drive prototype-to-product lifecycle: concept, validation, field trials, productization, manufacturing readiness, and lifecycle support.
· Ensure design for scalability, maintainability, and deployment robustness in real-world water and wastewater operating environments.
3. Team Building & Capability Creation
· Build and lead a high-performing team across embedded firmware, electronics/hardware, OT integration, validation/testing, and product engineering.
· Establish engineering processes, documentation standards, testing protocols, release governance, and cross-functional execution discipline.
· Develop internal competency for rapid troubleshooting, field support enablement, and continuous product improvement.
4. Expansion into Municipal Water Distribution IoT & AI
· Lead development of scalable IoT sensor and edge platforms for high-volume municipal water distribution projects.
· Work with internal digital/AI teams to enable data acquisition and device infrastructure for AI-driven monitoring, diagnostics, alerts, and optimization use cases.
· Ensure platformization and repeatability for multi-site rollouts, large-scale deployments, and long-term support requirements.
5. Smart Enablement of Existing Standard Products
· Drive IoT integration into existing standard products to make them smart/connected and digitally serviceable.
· Identify high-impact products for connectivity retrofits/new versions and define phased smart product roadmap.
· Enable data-driven service models and digital differentiation through connected product features.
6. Cross-functional Leadership & Business Impact
· Collaborate with Digital, Product Management, Manufacturing, Projects, Service, and Sales teams to align execution with business priorities.
· Support solution standardization, faster deployment cycles, and reduced external dependency through internal capability development.
· Contribute to new digital revenue opportunities through connected products, IoT platforms, and AIenabled water management solutions
