We are seeking an experienced aviation professional with hands-on flight experience to join our pilot training institute as a ground training specialist. In this role, you will apply your flight knowledge to guide students through ground school lessons, ensuring they grasp essential aviation concepts before progressing to flight. You’ll design and deliver structured lessons, leveraging your practical pilot expertise, while motivating and mentoring aspiring aviators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver ground school instruction on aviation fundamentals, including navigation, meteorology, and flight safety.
* Draw from real-world flight experience to illustrate key concepts.
* Create and adapt lesson plans to meet student needs and aviation standards.
* Offer one-on-one mentorship, drawing from personal flight experience.
* Assess and track student progress to prepare them for flight readiness.
* Stay current with aviation regulations and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Current or previous commercial pilot or equivalent flight experience.
* Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
* Strong communication and instructional skills.
* Deep understanding of aviation concepts and regulations.
* Passion for aviation and developing future pilots.
