About the role
You will Interview, Hire, and Grow a team of engineers to assist in performing device compatibility testing. You will mentor and guide junior engineers, guiding them in software requirements and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will oversee the creation of software verification plans, test protocols, and software risk analyses for commercial products, ensuring that all standards are met. You will review and approve test reports that document detailed validation results and communicate test progress to upper management. You will enforce adherence to internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures in compliance with medical and security regulations. You will guide the modification of test protocols based on changes in requirements and oversee regression validation execution. You will foster collaboration among your team and with other engineering departments to achieve shared goals and enhance product quality. You will manage the lab environment, ensuring it is equipped and maintained for effective testing and development activities. You will continuously explore and evaluate new technologies to improve development efficiency.
