Staff SW Development Engineer - CEP & Support Tools

Dexcom is a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems for people with diabetes. The Dexcom G6 CGM system allows people with diabetes to better manage their condition by providing real-time glucose readings and alerts without the need for fingerstick blood tests. Dexcom's CGM systems are a critical tool that empowers people with diabetes to better control their condition, improve health outcomes, and live fuller lives. The Staff Software Development Engineer - CEP & Support Tools role is responsible for building and maintaining software tools to support the Dexcom customer experience team (CEP) and other internal support teams. You will be part of a team that develops and maintains various internal software tools and services to help enhance Dexcom's customer experience and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software tools and services to support Dexcom's customer experience and internal support teams - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code - Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design decisions - Continuously improve development processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization - Proactively identify and address technical issues, bugs, and risks - Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in software development - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or other modern programming languages - Experience in building and maintaining web applications, APIs, and microservices - Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and best practices - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Experience with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
