Job Description:
Role Overview
The DevSecOps Technology Center of Excellence (CoE) Architect is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for defining, governing, and scaling modern DevSecOps capabilities across the enterprise. This role emphasizes Agentic-AI and Generative AI (Gen-AI) driven intelligence across the secure software delivery lifecycle, enabling autonomous decision-making, proactive risk mitigation, and continuous optimization of cloud-native and platform engineering ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and lead the DevSecOps CoE vision, strategy, standards, and governance models.
• Design Agentic-AI driven DevSecOps architectures enabling autonomous pipeline orchestration, self-healing, and adaptive security postures.
• Define Gen-AI based use-cases such as intelligent code reviews, vulnerability triage, security policy generation, incident summarization, and remediation recommendations.
• Architect secure CI/CD pipelines integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection, container security, IaC scanning, and compliance-as-code.
• Drive platform engineering practices using Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) tools like Harness, Backstage, GitOps, golden pipelines, reusable blueprints, and automation frameworks.
• Partners with CISO, CIO, Cloud, SRE, and Application leaders to embed security and reliability by design.
• Define operating models, maturity models, KPIs, and value metrics for DevSecOps and AI-driven automation.
• Provide technical leadership, consulting, and mentorship to engineering, security, and operations teams.
Agentic-AI & Gen-AI Focus Areas
• Autonomous DevSecOps agents for pipeline optimization, policy enforcement, and drift correction.
• Gen-AI powered threat modeling, secure design recommendations, and architecture validation.
• AI-driven vulnerability prioritization based on exploitability, business risk, and contextual intelligence.
• Conversational DevSecOps copilots for developers, SREs, and security teams.
• Continuous learning feedback loops leveraging telemetry, observability, and incident data.
Technology Stack Expectations
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure/AWS DevOps, Harness, Backstage, TeamCity, Argo-CD, JFrog Artifactory…
• Cloud & Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE), OpenShift
• Security: SAST/DAST/SCA tools, container and supply-chain security platforms.
• IaC & Automation: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Helm.
• AI/ML & Gen-AI: LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architecture, vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks.
• Observability & SRE: Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, AIOps platforms.
• Automation: BASH Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Groovy, Python, Go…
• Coding: Java, Json will be an added advantage
• OS: Linux, Windows
Migration Experience Expectations
• Excellent hands on with Version Control and CI/CD Tools to Assess, Design, PoC, Execute & Orchestrate large migrations of Source Code between Version Control Tools and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Excellent experience with Clouds & Kubernetes Platform to support Monolithic to Micro-Service transformations / migrations.
Qualifications & Experience
• 12+ years of experience across DevOps, Cloud, Containers, Security, or Platform Engineering.
• Certification with Red Hat Linux, Cloud, Containerization Platform (AKS/EKS/GKE/OpenShift), Terraform, Red Hat Ansible, DevOps, CI/CD Tools like Harness will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale DevSecOps architectures including Factory Model.
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC, Zero Trust, and regulatory compliance (BFSI/Enterprise).
• Hands-on experience with AI/Gen-AI adoption in engineering or security workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and architectural documentation skills.
