About Novatro
Novatro is building an AI-powered Intelligent Manufacturing ERP for manufacturers across defense, aerospace, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. We're a growing, focused team that moves fast and builds with intention — passionate about creating a great culture and transforming how industrial operations run. Every person here has real ownership and real impact.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a DevOps / Production Ops Engineer to help build and operate the infrastructure that powers our engineering team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll build and run modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, with room to grow into broader ownership as Novatro scales. You'll report to the Lead Technical Architect and work closely with Developers, QA, Product, and cross-functional leadership to enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery.
If you love building pipelines, automating everything — including Infrastructure as Code — and taking real ownership of your work, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
CI/CD & Pipeline Ownership Architect, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using
GitHub Actions and/or AWS DevOps tooling (CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline),
owning the full lifecycle from design through execution and continuous improvement.
Cloud Infrastructure Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS using
Infrastructure as Code — Terraform, YAML-based configurations, and related tooling.
Automation Automate build, test, release, and deployment workflows across Dev, QA,
Staging, and Production environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Dev and QA engineers to embed
DevOps practices throughout the SDLC, with clear communication across engineering
leadership and individual contributors.
Nice to Have
- Containerization and deployment strategies using Docker and related AWS orchestration tools.
- ProdOps experience — running and maintaining high-availability, fault-tolerant production systems.
- Monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar APM tools.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment — while not a hard requirement, familiarity with how DevOps supports Agile teams and iterative delivery is important to how we work.
What You'll Bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on DevOps experience, with a genuine sense of ownership over what you build.
- Solid experience building and running CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or AWS DevOps tooling (CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline).
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, YAML-based configuration, and pipeline definitions.
- Experience integrating DevOps pipelines with application frameworks and test automation.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, YAML, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving instincts, a strong sense of ownership, and a genuine hunger to learn and grow.
- Strong communication skills — comfortable working with engineering leadership and individual contributors alike.
- AWS DevOps certification is a plus.
- Compensation & Setup
- We offer competitive compensation based on skills and experience, with clear opportunities
- for growth as Novatro scales. This is a fully remote, permanent full-time position open to
- candidates based in India, with occasional travel required.
Our Interview Process
As a key role, we take our process seriously — and we expect you to as well. Shortlisted
candidates will move through a comprehensive process that includes multiple interviews and
skills assessments designed to evaluate both technical depth and collaborative fit.
