Job Title: Devops Manager
Location: Bangalore(Marathahali)
Experience: 15 years+
Qualification: Btech/BE/Mtech(IT)
Key Role:
• AWS: EC2, ECS (Docker), Lambda, API Gateway, Load Balancers, PostgreSQL RDS (Aurora may be needed in the future)
• CI/CD & SCM: Bamboo, Bitbucket (Git), maven, gradle
• Work Management & Docs: Jira, Confluence
• Scripting/Automation: Python, Bash/Shell
• Security/Connectivity: TLS/SSL, mutual TLS (mTLS), certificate/truststore handling
• Ops/Observability: monitoring/alerting tooling
• Vulnerability/Scanning (plus): vulnerability scanning and dependency/license scanning exposure
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (Bamboo), ensuring stable and repeatable releases.
• Manage AWS infrastructure and deployments on ECS (Docker) and EC2; support reliable rollouts and troubleshooting.
• Support database operations for PostgreSQL on RDS (performance, reliability, operational tasks).
• Implement automation for repetitive tasks using Python and Bash/Shell, with strong debugging/problem-solving skills.
• Participate in incident triage and problem resolution; continuously reduce toil through automation and operational improvements.
• Support secure connectivity patterns including mTLS, certificate onboarding/renewal/rotation, and operational troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mTLS-related operational issues such as truststore/certificate conflicts and deployment failures.
• Maintain and improve monitoring/alerting and operational visibility and recurring issues.
• Create and maintain documentation and runbooks (Confluence): deployment guides, operational SOPs, troubleshooting notes, and change records.
• Follow structured change governance (e.g., CAB-style change notes/approvals and controlled change windows) where applicable.
• Work effectively in Agile ways of working, tracking tasks and communicating clearly across teams.
