Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a DevOps Intern. The intern will assist in maintaining and improving development and deployment pipelines, supporting continuous integration workflows, and helping integrate new tools and services into existing systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with Linux-based environments, collaborating with software developers to automate build and release processes, and gaining hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. The role involves troubleshooting issues in test and production environments, documenting processes, and contributing to team discussions on system reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Software Development and Integration, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Basic understanding of Continuous Integration practices and tools used to automate build and deployment pipelines.
- Experience or coursework related to Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Comfort working in Linux environments, including basic command-line operations and system navigation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn modern DevOps practices.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setting.
