🚀 Hiring: DevOps + System Design Engineer

🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for a highly capable engineer who can operate at the intersection of DevOps, System Design, and Scalable Architecture.
This is not just a DevOps role — we need someone who can think, design, and build systems end-to-end, make architectural decisions, and ensure systems are scalable, secure, and production-ready.
You will be responsible for how systems are designed, how services interact, and how infrastructure supports business scale.
🧠 What You’ll Own
- Design end-to-end system architecture (HLD & LLD) for scalable applications
- Decide between monolithic vs microservices architecture based on use case
- Define how backend, frontend, databases, and services interact
- Build and manage production-grade cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services
- Architect CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and rollback mechanisms
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization
- Design secure systems across cloud, network, and application layers
- Work on data flow design, event-driven systems, and API architecture
- Collaborate with engineering teams on technical decision-making and trade-offs
⚙️ Core Responsibilities🏗️ System Design & Architecture
- Create HLD (High-Level Design) and LLD (Low-Level Design) documents
- Design scalable backend architectures and service communication patterns
- Evaluate and implement:
- Monolith vs Microservices
- Sync vs Async communication
- REST vs event-driven systems
- Define API structures, service boundaries, and data flow
☁️ Cloud & DevOps Engineering
- Deploy and manage infrastructure on Amazon Web Services
- Work with services like:
- Amazon S3
- AWS Lambda
- Amazon Athena
- VPC, IAM, EC2, Load Balancers
- Containerize and orchestrate applications using:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
🔄 CI/CD & Automation
- Build pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools
- Implement:
- Auto deployments
- Version control strategies
- Rollbacks & blue-green deployments
- Maintain production stability and release cycles
📊 Monitoring & Observability
- Implement monitoring using:
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Logging with ELK Stack
- Proactively detect and resolve production issues
🧱 Database & Data Architecture
- Design and manage:
- SQL databases (schema design, indexing, optimization)
- NoSQL databases (scalability, partitioning)
- Ensure data consistency, security, and performance
🔐 Security & Reliability
- Implement cloud-level and application-level security
- Manage IAM roles, access control, encryption, and secrets
- Ensure secure coding and infrastructure practices
🤖 AI & Modern System Exposure (Good to Have)
- Understanding of AI/ML deployment pipelines (MLOps basics)
- Exposure to data pipelines (e.g., PySpark)
- Understanding of how AI services integrate into scalable systems
🧩 Required Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- System Design (HLD, LLD)
- Distributed systems & scalability
- Backend architecture & service design
- Hands-on experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Deep expertise in AWS (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of networking (VPC, subnets, gateways)
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL database design
- Familiarity with Linux systems & scripting

- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer)
- Exposure to:
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with event-driven architectures & message queues
