Cogniflix Artificial Intelligence Pvt Ltd (Mindflix AI) is building the next generation of AI-powered personalisation and engagement systems across voice, conversational interfaces, and real-time intelligence. Our platform combines Generative AI, deep learning, and scalable backend infrastructure to enable human-like interactions at production scale.
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to build, automate, secure and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment systems.
Mindflix AI is currently based in Bangalore and is being built with a global outlook, including a Singapore company structure to support international expansion, enterprise partnerships, and future growth.
Role
You will work closely with our engineering and AI teams to manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, improve system reliability and strengthen monitoring and incident response.
This is a hands-on role requiring ownership of infrastructure from deployment through production monitoring and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Deploy and manage Docker-based applications in production.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python or Bash.
- Manage Linux servers, networking, DNS, VPCs, load balancers, IAM and secrets.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting using tools such as OpenTelemetry and Datadog.
- Maintain Git-based workflows and support GitOps practices.
- Monitor production systems and participate in on-call and incident-management processes.
- Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive improvements.
- Support infrastructure security, backups, access controls and disaster-recovery readiness.
- Assist the Company in implementing infrastructure controls required for SOC 2 and other applicable compliance frameworks.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, deployment procedures and operational runbooks.
Must Have- 2–4 years of hands-on DevOps, cloud infrastructure or platform-engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of AWS; experience with Azure or GCP is also relevant.
- Practical experience with Terraform.
- Production experience with Docker.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of Python or Bash for automation.
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals, including DNS, VPCs and load balancing.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus or Grafana.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and GitOps practices.
- On-call, production troubleshooting and incident-management experience.
- Understanding of cloud security and access-management fundamentals.
Good to Have- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or another relevant cloud certification.
- Experience with Kubernetes or managed container orchestration.
- Exposure to SOC 2 controls, security audits or compliance-readiness programmes.
- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads, GPU infrastructure or high-throughput applications.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, queues and event-driven systems.
