About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and maintain our server infrastructure and DevOps toolchain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, and optimizing both development and production environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across systems. This role requires strong expertise in automation, infrastructure management, and close collaboration with development and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Deploy, configure, and monitor servers (physical, virtual, and cloud-based) for high availability and performance
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Perform root cause analysis for system failures and implement preventive measures
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Ensure system security through vulnerability assessments, risk management, and patching
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to streamline deployments and optimize performance
- Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, tools, and processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance best practices
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (AWS DevOps, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Background in system administration and server management
