Role: DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Automation - Disaster Recovery Implementation

Key Responsibilities
- Job Description: What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for our production environment.
- Build automation capabilities for AWS & Azure multi region deployments of services & configurations
- Configure and manage Jenkins/CloudBees for CI/CD pipeline automation and migration of our legacy pipelines
- Implement and utilize Argocd (or similar tool) for efficient CI/CD workflows.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or related role with a strong understanding of disaster recovery concepts and best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform (must have)
- Hands-on experience with AWS EKS for container orchestration
- Experience with Argocd or similar CI/CD pipeline orchestration tool.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services like Secret Manager, Lambda, S3
- Automate disaster recovery testing and failover procedures.
- Work with container workloads using Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and Helm.
- Leverage CloudFlare for disaster recovery capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineers across development, cloud, and operations teams.
- Document the DR plan and procedures for ongoing maintenance and training purposes.
- Monitor system health (Familiarity with Observability tools Dynatrace, Splunk) and troubleshoot any issues related to the DR implementation. Elasticache, API Gateway, Opensearch, Serverless Services (must have) Experience with Jenkins/CloudBees for CI/CD automation. (must have)
- Knowledge on Helm (must have)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git) and GitOps patterns
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy). (must have)
- Knowledge of CDN like Cloudfront/CloudFlare and its disaster recovery capabilities is an added advantage (nice to have)
- Experience with Solr clusters (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Spring Boot microservices and Maven build tool (nice to have)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams.
