Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Cloud Optimization SaaS) – Demo to Core Team
About CloudInfix
CloudInfix is building an AI-powered cloud cost optimization platform that helps companies reduce AWS/DO bills by 30–60% through automation, insights, and smart recommendations.
We are currently in the demo + early traction stage and looking for a high-ownership DevOps engineer who can help us go from MVP → production-ready system.

Role Mission
- Build a cost-efficient, scalable cloud architecture
- Help us prove product value in demos
- Ensure our system can handle real clients quickly
Key Responsibilities (Outcome-Based)
Instead of generic tasks, here’s what you will actually do:
1. Demo Infrastructure Setup
- Create a low-cost, high-performance demo environment
- Ensure quick deployments for client demos
- Simulate real-world cloud usage for testing
2. Cloud Cost Optimization (Core Focus)
- Identify waste in infrastructure
- Implement:
- Auto-scaling
- Spot instances
- Reserved instances strategy
- Build cost monitoring dashboards
3. CI/CD & Automation
- Set up end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
- Automate:
- Deployment
- Testing
- Rollbacks
4. Infrastructure as Code
- Build reusable infra using:
- Terraform (preferred)
- or CloudFormation
5. Monitoring & Reliability
- Setup:
- Logs
- Alerts
- Performance tracking
- Ensure 99%+ uptime for demo & early clients
️ Must-Have Skills (Strict)
- Strong hands-on with AWS (mandatory)
- Experience with:
- EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM
- Docker (must)
- CI/CD (GitHub Actions / Jenkins / GitLab)
- Terraform or similar IaC
- Basic scripting (Python / Bash)
High-Value Skills (We Prioritize These Candidates)
- Kubernetes (basic to intermediate)
- Experience reducing cloud bills in real projects
- Knowledge of FinOps / cost optimization
- Startup or fast-paced environment experience

- Can work independently without hand-holding

- Comfortable with uncertainty & fast execution
