Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and production-grade system operations.
Key Responsibilities
AWS & Cloud Infrastructure
Design and manage scalable infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Hands-on experience with EKS (mandatory), ECS, EC2, and Auto Scaling
Strong knowledge of VPC, subnets, route tables, NAT/IGW, security groups, and NACLs
Manage IAM roles, policies, cross-account access, and security best practices
Work with S3, ECR, RDS (basic), and AWS Organizations
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform
Build reusable modules and manage remote state (S3/DynamoDB)
Integrate Terraform workflows with CI/CD pipelines
Security & CI/CD
Implement secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
Manage secrets using AWS Secrets Manager and OIDC integrations
Support blue/green and canary deployments on EKS
Handle rollback strategies and incident response
Observability & Monitoring
Monitor systems using Datadog (APM, logs, metrics)
Build dashboards, alerts, and proactive monitoring systems
Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads and production issues
AI & Modern DevOps
Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot for automation and optimization
Exposure to AWS AI services like Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker is a plus
Apply AI in CI/CD optimization, failure detection, and automation
Ownership & Collaboration
Own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and platform components
Collaborate with engineering and security teams
Improve developer experience through automation and tooling
Required Skills
Strong AWS expertise (EKS is mandatory)
Kubernetes (production experience)
Terraform (advanced level)
CI/CD tools and pipeline design
Monitoring tools (Datadog preferred)
Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
Good to Have
Experience with multi-account AWS setups
Knowledge of AI/ML integration in DevOps
Experience with large-scale production systems
