Role Description
This is a hybrid role based in Chennai, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure as code (IaC), ensuring smooth continuous integration and deployment pipelines. You will oversee system administration tasks, optimize Linux environments, and collaborate with developers to build and maintain scalable and reliable software systems. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and security of infrastructure and operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar frameworks
- Experience in Software Development and integrating software development workflows into CI/CD pipelines
- Solid background in System Administration and managing Linux-based systems
- Strong foundation in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, both collaboratively and independently
