About The Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team at UST. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment strategies, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring the stability and performance of our cloud-based applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the digital transformation initiatives of our clients.
Qualifications
The candidate should possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles, demonstrating expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services. Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation and management is essential. Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation, along with practical knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration, is required. Familiarity with Azure Blob Storage, Virtual Machines, and Key Vault is necessary. The ideal candidate should also have a solid understanding of cloud security principles, networking basics, and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Immediate or short notice availability is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and automate Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure environments.
- Build, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps to streamline deployment processes.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Azure Blob Storage, Virtual Machines, and Key Vault to support application needs and data security.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and security controls to safeguard cloud resources and applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to align cloud solutions with organizational goals and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and processes.
